Mr. Insua, originally from Córdoba, Argentina, moved to Lincoln, Nebraska in 2004 with his wife, a Lincoln native. He received a M.S. in Biology from the Universidad Nacional de Argentina where he conducted research in floral biology. In 2011 he was the recipient of a Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship from the National Science Foundation to complete a Master of Arts in Science Education at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Apart from his interest in science education, Mr. Insua repairs cars, motorcycles and bicycles, gardens extensively and renovates his 105-year-old home. He loves sharing his passion for science, nature, scientific thinking and environmental sustainability with students.
